Quality Inn, Kitchener

The hotel was a bit expensive for what it offered and the rooms were on the small side. However, the room amenities were basic with only carton plates and plastic utensils. The climate control unit was not ideal as it blew cold air non-stop towards the bed causing discomfort.

I stayed at the hotel located at Grand Central Station, right in front of the ice machine which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, the room was comfortable. The service was friendly and professional, though finding the reception was a bit tricky. The location was excellent with easy access to GRT, but the entrance could be better marked. The dining experience was good, but the prices were on the higher side. Facilities were fine for my stay.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we encountered a few setbacks like the room not being ready on time and a less-than-ideal view from the window. The wet and smelly carpet was quite off-putting, and signs of mold in the bathroom were concerning. However, the location proved to be convenient for our needs and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the highway.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and had nice amenities like a couch, microwave, and fridge, but the strong smell of cigarette smoke was a major downside. The service was friendly overall, with some staff members being exceptionally warm and welcoming. The location was convenient for my needs, although the noisy room next door was a bit of a nuisance. The dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the facilities met my basic needs.

Upon arrival at 4:45 pm, our room was not ready, even though the check-in time was guaranteed for 3 pm. The room was comfortable for our family of four, including two young adult children. Despite changing rooms due to a smell issue, the odor persisted. Additionally, our room was quite remote from the elevators.
